Default largest zucchini variety?

Which variety produces the heaviest fruits? Does anybody around here have some knowledge on this subject?

Thanks,

Try looking up Zucchini Rampicante or Tromboncino. I am not sure it it is the biggest, but it is the largest that I know of. Lorri D

Costata Romanesco are quite edible when they are 1' or more long. When fully mature they can exceed 2' in length. We let them fully size up to get more volume of food per fruit. They are wonderful sliced up and dehydrated to add into winter's soups and pasta sauce.
