Hello,
Years ago I purchased seed for Zappalito del Tronco, a round, glossy, dark green summer squash with a firm flesh. I got it from Bountiful Gardens. Now I cannot find it. If anyone has some seed to spare, I would gladly purchase it.

I bought Zappolitto de Tronco winter squash organic seeds from Sandhill Preservation Center for $2.50 this January 2012.
www.sandhillpreservation.com If you buy $10 worth of various seeds, the shipping & handling is FREE! ![]() Sandhill is not a commercial seed company but a preservation center of heirloom seeds, etc. Their catalog is on line but you can only order by mail and pay by check or money order. They are listed in many Master Gardener's books. The catalog has NO Pictures and only lists hundreds of vegetables with descriptions. The catalog is what you see on line and is free to receive but you have to wait for the bulk mailing. You can use the online catalog and copy the order form to mail your order. |

You can also find them at http://irisheyesgardenseeds.com/index.php/ for quick delivery. Sandhill takes "forever" to ship.
