y6plot Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: Upstate NY Zone 5 Posts: 16	Basil - germinate in light or dark? I just started using a home-made germination box for starting seeds . I know that some seeds seem to need light to germinate well and was wondering if basil is one of them. Does anyone have personal experience? -Charlie in zone 7a - Long Island
