Hi. My tomato and eggplant seedlings were doing great and now all of a sudden some of them are dying :-(
There is a strange pattern on the leaves. As if slugs were on the them but it is defintely not the case. What is causing this? I have added some organic plant food called Nitrosol recently. Thank you |

I agree with dcarch -- looks like leaf miners.
Are the plants actually dying? Sometimes it's more of a cosmetic thing, where the leaves are damaged and look unsightly, but the plant is able to keep ahead with producing new growth. I don't have much problem with this here in the north on my tomatoes, but when I tried to grow them in Mexico, I noticed these white tunnels on all my plants. They survived and went on to produce fruit without any treatment. Some info: http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/r783300911.html
