Default Growing potatoes in a bag

My husband and I are growing potatoes for the first time (in this country). We would like to try using potato grow bags for space purposes. Has anyone done this? Any recommendations for the appropriate growing medium? Is sphagnum peat moss a good addition to soil?

Thanks for any help (we are doing mostly kennebec, with some reds and varieties we bought from a farmer's market last fall)

Nope, I haven't tried it in a bag. I suppose it would be similar to planting in a barrel except more prone to drying out.
